East Village and the surrounding Olympic Park area have become a popular filming location — the striking architecture and distinctive urban landscape attract TV and film productions regularly.

EastEnders — The programme is of course set in the fictional “E20” (a nod to the postcode), though it films at the BBC’s Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire. The E20 postcode was chosen partly for this link.

Various commercials — Celebration Avenue and the Podium area have appeared in TV advertisements. The architecture photographs well.

Corporate video and photography — GetLiving and various brands use the estate for visual content.
