East Village is exceptionally well connected. Here’s what you have on your doorstep.
Stratford station (5 min walk)
The main hub. From here:
- Elizabeth line — Liverpool Street in 7 min, Paddington in 22 min, Heathrow in ~40 min
- Central line — Oxford Circus in 19 min, direct to most of Zone 1
- Jubilee line — Canary Wharf in 6 min, Westminster in 18 min, Waterloo in 22 min
- Overground — Direct to Highbury & Islington, Crystal Palace, Clapham Junction
- DLR — Bank in 20 min, Greenwich in 24 min, Woolwich in 30 min
- National Rail — Stansted Express, Cambridge trains, Essex services
Stratford International (8 min walk)
- HS1 Javelin — St Pancras in 7 min, Ebbsfleet in 13 min
- Southeastern trains — Kent services
Buses
Several routes stop on Celebration Avenue and around the Olympic Park:
- 339 — Shadwell, Leytonstone
- 308 — Wanstead, Clapton
- D8 — Stratford, Isle of Dogs
- 388 — Stratford, Victoria
Cycling
East Village is part of the Lee Valley cycling network. A dedicated cycle path connects to the Olympic Park and beyond.
Santander Cycles docking stations are nearby at Stratford and the Olympic Park.
Driving
Parking: Limited parking within East Village itself (mostly permit zones). Westfield has paid parking. The M11 is accessible via the A12.
ULEZ: The entire area is within the ULEZ zone as of 2023.
